For simpler fans with only a power and ground input, you’ll need to add a transistor to provide it with enough current. 5 and PM10 levels and can adjust the fan speed based on PWM standard fan connector. in my opinion ,the best solution would be to add ESP32/8266 with ESPHome to your Exhaust Blower utilizing the PWM to control motor speed . ESP32 provides 16 PWM channels. Average, a PC fan draws some 400mA, so i could run 20 PWM Controllers. The ESP8266 lacks any hardware support for PWM.
